Parents Ahead

Two parents who learned the world by walking it, and are now learning AI the same way.

Illustration: three small figures walking along a dotted travel route across an old world map.

Marquis travelled on his own for eight years. In the eighth year he met Cynthia. In 2018 we set off together on a journey that lasted more than 240 days. Between us, we have now visited more than 120 countries.

Those years taught us something we didn't expect: the people who did well everywhere were rarely the ones who knew the most. They were the ones who stayed curious, asked good questions, and could adapt when the plan fell apart.

Today we live in Spain with our daughter, Yoyo, who is five. And the world she is growing up in is changing faster than any border we ever crossed.

Marquis started learning AI from zero in his forties, with no technical background, and found that it is far more approachable than it looks. That is what Parents Ahead is about: helping parents keep up, so our children can get ahead.

  • 120+countries visited
  • 240+days on the road together
  • 1five-year-old asking “why?”

How we write

We decide every topic ourselves and read every word before it goes out. We use AI tools to help us draft and translate, and we say so at the end of each letter.

We write in English and Spanish first, with more languages to come.
